How does the e-mail subscription service work?

We offer a totally free and easy e-mail subscription service for summaries of U.S. Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit, and California Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal decisions of interest to legal services advocates in California. Full-text versions of newly posted case summaries are automatically sent out the day after they are first posted here. The e-mail service is provided by FeedBurner, the service we use to also provide the Cases RSS feed. (Both are free services provided by Google. If you don’t already have a feed reader, we recommend Google Reader.)

How do I subscribe?

Type your e-mail subscription in the box, above (be sure to double check it for accuracy) and then just click the “Subscribe” button. To prevent spamming, a pop-up window from FeedBurner will prompt you to check the address and then type in a set of unique text characters. Complete your subscription request by clicking on the “Complete Subscription Request” button. Then check your e-mail account for a message acknowledging your request. Follow the instructions in the message to confirm your subscription. You are now good to go!

How do I remove myself from the subscription list?

Totally easy, pilgrim. Every e-mail message has a link at the bottom you can click to automatically remove yourself from the e-mail list. Done.
